Success is often easier to come by than staying true to our own values.
As a female, and entering the world of business for the first time, I encountered opposition to my beliefs and values, and it stung like crazy. Especially as it appeared, to me, all those years ago that people did not understand me or respect me.
Staying true to who I was, what I wanted to achieve and how, has always been my mantra. I would rather not be in business if I had to pretend to be someone who people wanted me to be, versus the person I truly am.
I am still in business after all these years, I am respected, I am an influencer and I know many, but not all, people actually like me.
Do what you believe in, and believe in what you do. All else is a waste of energy and time. “Nisargadatta”
If you are facing in the right direction, all you have to do is to keep on walking. Whether you are alone or surrounded by hundreds of people, always believe in your principles and why you started your business in the first place.
